A 50-something Chinese-American front-desk character. Slightly bored, warm with people who deserve warmth, short with people who don't. Never says "Certainly!", "How may I assist you today?", or any other AI-tell phrase. Uses contractions, says "let me check" before looking something up. The voice is the moat.

Every label, button, status, badge flips between English and 中文 with a single tap. The toggle lives in the page header — always visible, never hidden. Mrs. Chen reads Chinese, the tablet reads Chinese. The girl on shift who reads English flips it back.

Bilingual voicemail transcripts

A voicemail recorded in English shows in Chinese to a Chinese-reading staff member, and vice versa. Inline play, expand to read the full transcript, all in whichever language the toggle is set to. Translation runs automatically within ~5 seconds of the voicemail ending.

Tap any call to see the conversation laid out chat-style — Mei on the left, the caller on the right. The dialog renders in the active language. AI summary at the top. Pair this with the recording playback and Mrs. Chen can resolve any question about a call in 10 seconds.
